Speaking on Friday in Lome, at the opening of a workshop on the appropriation of the National Plan of Development (PND), he made the link between the PND and the $ 60 billion announced in September 2018 by Chinese President Xi Jinping for Africa at the 7th Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) held in Beijing.
"With the adage saying, I quote: first come, first served, I would like to urge the entire Togolese private sector to identify and quickly develop mature, attractive, bankable and win-win projects to submit to our Chinese partners in order to better take advantage of the $ 60 billion proposed to be deposited in the pot of the entire African continent", said Mr Klassou.
He invited the private sector to continue playing the role of driving the country's economic growth and creating massive and decent jobs.
A call understood by the economic operators represented by the president of the National Council of Employers (CNP-Togo), Laurent Coami Tamegnon committed to identifying areas of promising investments.
"It is precisely for this perspective that employers have developed the guide for investment in the agricultural sector in Togo," he said.
The National Plan of Development prioritizes in its axis2 to develop poles of agricultural transformation, manufacturing and extractive industries.
